Directions

By Train:

From JR Ueno Station, take the Limited Express "Kusatsu" to Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station (150mins). Then take the JR Kanto Bus to Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal (25mins). Kiyoshigekan is about 10 minutes on foot from here.

You may also take the Asama Shinkansen from Tokyo or Ueno Stations to Takasaki Station (50mins) and then take the JR Agatsuma Line to Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station (90mins).

By Bus:
From Shinjuku Station (New South Exit) take the Jyosyu Yumeguri Go to Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal (4 hours). Kiyoshigekan is about 10 minutes on foot from here.

From Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal:
The bus terminal is right by Route 292, also called Japan Romantic St. (Nihon Romanchikku Kaido). Walk east on Route 292 for 10 minutes. The hotel is on the right side of the street.

By Car:
Take the Kanetsu Highway and come off at Shibukawa IC. Then take Route 17 / 353 to Naganojo (21km). Next take Route 145 to Naganohara (27km). Finally take Route 292 to Kusatsu (10km).

From Osaka:
By Train:
From Shin-Osaka Station to Tokyo Station, take the JR Nozomi Shinkansen (2 hrs 30 mins).
From Tokyo Station to Ueno Station, use the JR Yamanote Line (7 mins).
