El Castellano, Spanish Restaurant in Shibuya, Tokyo
El Castellano, Spanish Restaurant in Shibuya, Tokyo
As the first Spanish restaurant owned and operated by a Spaniard in Tokyo, stepping into El Castellano is like stepping into a Spanish village with a rich culinary history. Since 1977, Japanese locals, international travelers, and the foreign community alike have been making pilgrimages to the restaurant to enjoy a variety of regional home style cooking. Here, even the water is Spanish and they serve Spain's best cured ham “Jamón Ibérico Bellota”. There’s a certain texture to it all, every customer receives the owner's personal attention and you can enjoy live music every Monday and Tuesday.
