1. Takayama has two traditional Takayama Matsuri (festivals), which are called the Sanno Matsuri (in Apr.) and the Yahata Matsuri (in Oct.).
2. There are the historic villages of Shirakawago and Gokayama both UNESCO World Heritage sites.
3. Hida Folk Village (Hida-no-Sato), a overwhelmingly beautiful picturesque village built on a hillside overlooking the Takayama Valley.

Another great exprerience is to visit the Morning Market at Miyakawa and Jinya.

Yasuda Pension, Spanish Style Inn in Hida Takayama, Gifu: Amenities

Free LAN Wireless connections available in the whole building. Six rooms without bath room (twin and triple), three rooms with bath room including one suite room. A connecting room available upon request. We have two baths with a mineral hot water tub. The fresh mineral water comes from 87 meters below the ground. Please note we are not using officially registered onsen water. Breakfast is 800 yen per person. Dinner is 3,600 yen per person. For dinner, please order one day or more in advance by e-mail or phone.

Parking lot, dining room, mineral hot bath rooms.
Free coffee with natural water available in the lobby after dinner around 9:30pm.

In-room amenities include: hair drier, towels, face towels, shampoo & conditioner, razor, tea set, soap, tooth brush and tooth paste. The floor is heated during winter time.
